CHECK NAME AVAILABILITY
Generally, a limited liability company ("LLC") in Illinois may use any permissible name that is not the same as or deceptively similar to existing corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, or other LLCs. You may verify that the name you have selected for your new Illinois LLC is available. There is no fee for this service.
LLC Check Name Availability
Most states do not require you to reserve a name for your entity before
forming your LLC. Therefore, once you have determined that the name you have
selected for your new LLC is available, you may proceed to Step 2 to form
your LLC. Note: Some states that allow you to form your LLC online will perform
a name search for your entity as part of the online filing process.
